Our History

Bobby's was established on 14th February 1976 and was opened by the then High Commissioner of India. The first Indian Vegetarian restaurant of it's kind in Leicester it produced Gurah cuisine in a friendly, homely atmosphere.

The restaurant was founded on very strong principles around vegetarianism and the use of fresh ingredients. Although the restaurant has expanded and changed over the years to meet changing customer demands these principles are still strongly maintained.

Established as a family restaurant it has continued to be run by the family, maintaining high quality standards of food with a friendly atmosphere and good service.
